Hi hi. I'm June.
I've been a Sonic fan for as long as I can remember and my favorite canon is Archie's.
My first instinct when I saw this site was to snatch up Nicole because she's my favorite ever and I have never gotten to play her before, but seeing how she's not available I need to think.
I think the premise for this game is pretty genius though.

We're glad you feel that way about the RP, and we're sorry Nicole was taken. There are plenty of other characters to choose from; the entire Archieverse is there for the taking. Even though I don't want to steer you towards them, Rotor's available, as is Robotnik and Snively.

Though I think RPing this era's Robotnik would be fun, I'm sorry to say that my own issues about crossplaying across gender would suck the fun out of it. Same goes for Rotor and Snively.
Hm...
I'm thinking I might apply for Fiona. Or...
Ooh! How about Auto-Fiona? I could do this whole redemption arc and THEN start playing the real Fiona once she's like, dead and stuff. I guess. Just throwing ideas around.

Go for it if you want! I'm playing Tails and would like to see something interesting happen. We'd have to come up with a way to introduce her, because it doesn't have to be along the lines of the comic.
You know you are allowed up to ten characters, by the way. Anyone else that might interest you? I need to remind myself to make a character reservation thread so we don't step on each other's toes.

Hi there. My name is MegaDaelon. You can refer to me as Rita or Daelon. Whichever you like better. I've joined the forum as an avid Role Player. Role Playing has been my passion for nearly five years now. I'm a 18 years German female that works as an office clerk in a facility that works for people who have disabilities. It's goal is to give those people a chance at getting a job. I am also an artist, but I have had received a lot of negative backlash when I openly admitted to disliking Amy Rose and Sonamy. That does NOT mean I have something against the fans. I was roughly banned multiple times for this and I've lost hope in the Sonic fandom. I am still depressed, but I hope I find friends here and be able to enjoy the Sonic fandom again. If you would like to see my art, I will post a few pieces below for you to look at.       As soon as I have heard you are looking for a Sally Acorn on tumblr I rushed over and signed up. I've also already posted my application, so you can go and look for her now. Speaking of my application, I've also allowed myself to give Sally a fresh new design, which is a mix of her 2013 and her classic design. Feel free to tell me what you think!  |

Welcome, Daelon! I've actually seen your art around Tumblr. You had this drawing of a character named "Sky Captain" which impressed me. I also love the two pie-eyed modern Sallys. The mix of old and new designs is all right, although we'll be starting with their SatAM-styled designs. You get a character icon to use when posting in the roleplaying threads; as we move further along the timeline, you'll receive ones with updated designs.
Everyone has their own opinions on shipping, really, and it's a shame you were hassled for stating your opinion, however unpopular. We're a fairly lineral bunch, ourselves, so you're bound to be at home here. As for my ships…well, I'll tell you that I plan to write one of the canons as homosexual. All I can tell you is that the character is not relatively well-known, is in one of the Freedom Fighter teams and has no canon sexuality. Take a guess!

Well, about the other Sally design... Well, I just wanted to freshen her look up a bit and if you allow me to, I'd edit every icon to fit her look as I've depicted it. I mean, I've been approved with it and it's no trouble at all. It's just to make her a little more appealing. She always seemed a little blank to me with just a vest. If I'm not allowed to edit Sally at all, tell me and I'll stop. And ... Oh! Are you picking up on the "Rotor is gay" thing? People have argued over it for a while, have they? I don't mind at all. I like Rotor and I'm perfectly fine with him being gay, so don't worry. Rotor will always be my bro, bro. (Antoine can't be gay, he's with Bunz, Sonic isn't gay, he's with Shadow Sally. ....) |

No offense at all. As to the creation of a new account, no. We still need to wait on Smee's approval. Once that happens, I will send via private message an icon to use for the roleplaying grounds, used by typing in a code. For example, if I were to type @ tails1 @ (sans spaces) I would wind up with  You use that icon at the beginning of your character's post—no account creation needed. This allows you to switch back and forth between different characters without switching accounts. |

I'm mobile right now so I can't do anything with it. By the time I get home you'll probably be asleep; I'm assuming there is a six-hour difference between the Eastern U.S. and Germany, so it'll probably be midnight where you are when I'm available to make the icon.
Keep in mind, we also have an AIM Blast group. While it's recommended you have it, it isn't required, although we'll need to find a way to work out plots.
Hmm. As I read the page, I wondered how Sally would take a breath. I can see it now: a bystander wondering why a duck's butt continues to sink constantly!

Hey, guys! I'm Nepeta (Kit and Nep are fine, perhaps even preferred!). I've been interested in the comics ever since I was a little one, around 5 or 6. However, I'd only read the OLD old ones, and I was avoiding the comics for quite some time because I caught a glance of Penders. In fact, I rather dodged the entire Sonic fandom because, well, it's the Sonic fandom. (I'm still nervous to be near the fandom.) But when I fell back in love with the games, my interest in the comics boosted back up! I started reading in the 180s, I think?
I've been roleplaying for some time, for 4-5 years.
I like drawing, but I'm a novice at drawing Sonic characters, because up until now, I've just been avoiding even attempting to draw them. I might post a few drawings later!

Haha, yes, another Homestuck! It's nice to meet you.
I should have been more specific (I just edited the heck out of my post)- it's not dramatic, I'm not a crazy fangirl, oh goodness, no! I'm actually batting around in the fandom, because in all honesty, I'm kind of- embarrassed by it? The Sonic fandom is the big joke of Tumblr, you wouldn't believe it. I've spiraled down to become a closet Sonic fan, and in fact I've only told my best friend about it? I bother her all the time with it because I seriously have no one to talk to about it.
Hopefully that changes now that I've joined!
