Full Name:
Bunnie Rabbot
Age:
18
Gender:
Female
Species:
Marsh Hare (Cyborg)
Residence:
Knothole, Mobius
Personality:
Sunny, social, and all-around sweetheart, Bunnie is pretty much the quintessential "Southern Gal." Optimistic and a romanticist, yet pragmatic and down-to-earth, she is a great friend to have around, being loyal to a fault, sympathetic to others' needs, and for than willing to comfort others. She doesn't let the small stuff get her down (... much...) and often responds to new challenges with good humor and a cheery outlook.
Bunnie is equal parts a girly girl and a tomboy. On the feminine side, she is quite the socialist, charming, enjoys large groups of friends and a bit of good gossip, and is a bit of a flirt around the boys. She's also incredibly fashion-savvy, given her interest in both the arts and cosmetology, the latter being something she wishes to pursue professionally. On the other hand, she is competitive by nature, particularly in athletics such as sports and martial arts (however, she is also a good sportsman, more than willing to accept losing with grace in a competition). She also doesn't mind getting dirty either, so long as she has time to prepare for it (getting a nice dress she's wearing dirty will upset her, for instance, but she's totally up for roughing up her casual clothes). This active lifestyle of hers makes her a strong woman both physically and mentally: Able to take a beating and keep on ticking while also having the courage, determination, and heart of gold to back it up. She's also never afraid to speak her mind, being absolute in what she believes in.
This isn't to say she doesn't have her "down times" however. While she has mostly come to terms with her cybernetics, she still has her doubts about them sometimes (not to mention some mild PTSD), but for the most part, she has successfully put it behind her. Her love of life doesn't let her dwell on the past too much, after all. However, if you really want to shake her up, destroying her trust is the quickest way to break her. While she is quite social around everyone, she only has a few truly close friends that she shares everything with. If heartbreak occurs because of betrayal or because of someone suspecting she betrayed them, she rapidly spirals into a funk that takes her a while to get out of. Combine all of this with her tendency to be blunt about things, and sometimes she can end up talking her way into trouble.
Likes:
Her fellow freedom fighters,(friendly!) competition, art, plants, country-style cooking, her hat, the color purple, romance novels, pursuing her dream of being a stylist
Dislikes:
THE ROBOTICIZER, Robotnik, heartbreak/being betrayed, when her looks get mussed up (not all the time, of course, since getting dirtied up is kind of expected given some of her hobbies as well as the whole freedom fighting thing, but mostly during more casual situations, especially if she spent a lot of time primping herself up beforehand), sour food
Talent and abilities:
Being a rabbit, Bunnie already had a few obvious physical abilities even before she got partially roboticized, namely her exceptionally strong hearing and jumping ability. While the jumping ability is sort of irrelevant now due to certain upgrades (more on that in a sec), her hearing is still as useful as ever, allowing her to pick up even the quietest of noises and, with a little effort, visualize a map of her current location in her head by listing to how sounds bounce off of things (kind of like bats do with echo-location... though her hearing isn't that good). Other natural physical traits of hers include a keen sense of smell, quick reflexes, and good stamina.
Of course, being half-robotic has given her a few bonus perks as well. Along with the increased strength and defense that being cybernetic brings, she also upgraded her legs to be telescoping, extending her reach. She also has a few more mundane things built into her arms. They're mostly related to her other talents and activities: Cooking utensils, gardening tools, and cosmetology equipment. Finally, thanks to additional modifications from Rotor, her limbs avoid some of the standard issues that cybernetic parts have: They're non-magnetic and waterproof.
Bunnie is also well-versed in sports, most specifically in martial arts, allowing her to be quite formidable in hand-to-hand combat (only compounded by one of her hands being metal). She has an exceptional eye for detail (quite helpful in her more artistic activities) and is quite good at gathering information due to being something of a gossip. She's also learned how to correctly compensate for the strength of her cyborg parts to avoid accidentally breaking anything, and has a basic understanding of computers and mechanics so that she can self-service her parts if need be (but not much more than that). She is also self-taught in the majority of her hobbies: Art, cooking, gardening, and cosmetology, although she wishes to take the time between adventures to hopefully study that last one on a professional level.
Weaknesses:
Due to her sharp hearing, particularly loud noises can easily stun her, causing deafness, headaches, and, in extreme cases, black-outs. Also, her cybernetic parts have proven to be a downside on more than one occation: EMP blasts can knock them offline and her limbs have proven to be rather easily hackable, allowing for bad guys to take control of them and make her do things she doesn't want to do (and all while trying to resist with her organic parts, no less!). Also, while she's careful to show restraint with the strength of her limbs, she does goof up occasionally... usually when tired, emotional, etc. Furthermore, her limbs do not have their own power source: They take their energy from Bunnie herself. Therefore, if she uses too many special abilities too quickly, she risks tiring herself out or, in extreme cases, killing herself. Finally, she's not a particularly good swimmer, only knowing enough to "tread water", so to speak.
While she's grown accustomed to her robotic limbs (and the many benefits they provide), the fact that she knows she'll never be organic again has caused Bunnie to sometimes have moments where she wishes she could be fully restored, along with some latent jealousy at those who were. Not only that, but she has a mild case of PTSD due to her experience with the roboticizer, often showing itself in either her really strong fear of it or in nightmares. Furthermore, she does not handle betrayal very well, whether it's when someone stabs her in the back or when someone accuses her of the same. It often causes her to become exceptionally emotional and do some rather questionable things in either revenge or to convince the other party to come back/that she's not betraying them. Also, she isn't shy about speaking her mind, which can cause some issues if subtlety is required.

History:
Bunnie was born and raised in the Southern Baronies, spending her early years outside of Robotnik's influence. Her first encounter with the mad doctor was when she got captured by a SWATbot and nearly roboticized. However, she was spared when someone pushed a boulder down on the bot, destroying it. She didn't know it at the time, but the person who rescured her was none other than Antoine, a future fellow freedom fighter.
Sometime later, another gang of SWATbots got the jump on her while she was tending to her garden of carrots. Unfortunately, fortune was not so favorable the second time: While she was eventually rescued by Sonic and Rotor, it was not until she was already half-way roboticized, giving her the cybernetic arm and legs that she is now known for. There was an upside to this, however: She ended up meeting her idol, Sally Acorn, because of Sonic and Rotor, and she became a full-fledged freedom fighter soon after.
Ever since, she's been a key member of the Knothole Freedom Fighters, and thanks to a few upgrades from Rotor, she's now more effective than ever in helping stop Robotnik's reign.
