Tails is very friendly and gentle to his friends. He does not hesitate to help others in need and is fully committed to the cause of stopping Dr. Robotnik. He always longs to be part of the action and is therefore displeased whenever he doesn't go on missions, especially due to lack of experience. For all his intelligence, there may be instances were Tails can be naive and childish; this may cause him to lose direction when working. Tails usually keeps his anger under control, but if pushed over the edge, it is difficult for others to calm him down.
Likes:
Vegetables; the colors orange and yellow; reading books, especially non-fiction works; swimming; flying; creating gadgets; going on missions
Dislikes:
Eggs; creepy insects (although he never has the urge to kill them); having to stay behind; merely being a sidekick
Talent and abilities:
Flight. Tails can twirl his two tails in the style of helicopter blades, allowing him to fly. While he certainly cannot run as fast as Sonic, he can fly fast enough to remain close to him.
Intelligence/Mechanics. Tails exhibits superior intelligence, most of it obtained from Rotor's Tree of Wisdom. His genius not only gives him the ability to make some serious gadgetry, but he also has a strong intuition as well.
Piloting craft. Tails is a skilled pilot of aircraft, a crucial skill that allows him to transport other Freedom Fighters.
Good swimmer. Tails can swim better than others his age, getting the basics down; however, his size limits his mobility.
Excellent sense of smell. As a fox, Tails has an excellent sense of smell that allows him to seek out people or the possibility of danger.
Super form: Turbo Tails. Tails becomes invincible and can fly without the use of his tails as long as the power lasts. Requires all Chaos Emeralds or Master Emerald.
Weaknesses:
Inexperienced in combat. Tails has received very little formal training in combat; combined with the many times he had to stay behind, this makes him very vulnerable when pitted one-on-one against an enemy.
Fear of fire. Tails has difficulty handling himself in situations where he is near fire. Although he doesn't freeze up, his train of thought is affected.
Buckles under pressure. When under distress or in the midst of physical or mental torture, Tails is prone to expose secrets to avoid further harm. Because of this, he is a ripe target for enemies.

Miles Prower had a most ignoble beginning: he was born the same day Dr. Robotnik took over the city of Mobotropolis. His parents then suddenly disappeared and have not been heard from since. He, along with other children from the Royal Court, were whisked away to Knothole Village where he was raised by the sweet and wise Rosie and Julayla.
He received the nickname "Tails" starting from when he was four years old, because of his abnormality: an extra tail. It was Sonic who suggested using his tails as helicopter blades, thus giving the young fox flight. Despite this newfound power, he was constantly left behind by his comrades. In order to remedy that situation, Tails ate the only fruit Rotor's Tree of Wisdom was able to grow. While he received genius-level intelligence for only a brief period, just enough of it remained with him. Now Tails works on gadgets, doing his part in the war against Dr. Robotnik.
