Hello, and welcome to Sonic Freedom, a Sonic RP based on the well-known Sonic the Hedgehog comic book series from Archie Comic Publications!
While this roleplay utilizes the characters and locales from the comic book, all the plots are decided upon by you, the roleplayers, may differ wildly from the original. The premise is the same as before: stop the Eggman Empire before all of Mobius is overrun. The only difference is the starting point: where the first sixteen issues were played for comedy, the B-story of issue #17, "Sally's Crusade," marked the beginning of the serious action tale that has been the norm for well over two hundred issues. For this roleplay, everything past #17 will be a clean slate; it's up to you to decide what happens next.
Almost all the characters utilized in the 200+ issues are available as canon characters here. The possibilities are endless as characters may be introduced earlier or later than in the comic, and in different situations.
